Man...what to say about this one? For starters it's one of best songs ever written. Lyrically, Johnny Mercer, was on top of his game. He's one of my favorite songwriters and someone I naturally look up to as a lyricist. And he had a pretty cool singing style as well. And then you have the great, Harold Arlen, coming up with the perfect melody. He kind of knew what he was doing, too, haha.

Then if that isn't enough you've got, "The Voice," putting his personal touch on it. In my dad's opinion this is Frank's best recording. And I have to agree it's up there with maybe a few others songs that he sang. It's definitely Frank at the top of his game. And I'm pretty sure that this particular arrangment was done by Frank's good buddy, the master arranger, Nelson Riddle. Gosh what a team of talented people. Oh, yea, can't forget about, Bill Miller, doing his thing on the piano. He's pretty awesome, too, and deserves to be mentioned.

Sooooo....after that build up, there's me, haha. There's me doing my take on this classic. I kind of felt not worthy enough to try it. But then I saw that other people have given it a go. So I thought why not? Notice the fedora hat that I got from Target, haha. I've never even worn it until now. I knew it would come in handy for something though. Actually, no, I didn't. But basically me wearing this hat is probably the most I'll ever go all out in trying to make a video as authentic as I can. I hope Frank appreciates the gesture just like I appreciate all he gave, and, continues to give to us through his performances.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you might like it. And, yes, I'm 26 and this is my kind of music.

Take Care,
