In this series of 6 videos a Holocaust survivor, Faigie Libman, speaks about her experiences during the war. Faigie discusses what it was like growing up as a little girl in a concentration camp, and the role that her loving mother played in keeping her alive.
This was filmed in a barracks at Birkenau (aka Auschwitz-II) in Poland by a participant of the 2009-2010 March of Remembrance and Hope, which is a journey that 60 Canadian university students embark on each May. It is an experience that emphasizes the dangers of bigotry, and fosters the equality amoungst all races, religions and ethnic groups.
