This is a great link, just type the make & model of your computer in and http://www.crucial.com/ will let you know what your computer came with and what it's upgradable too. I'm so happy I made this necessary upgrade, 256MB is, well frankly, I don't want to tell you. 2GB's is the lowest amount of RAM anyone should have. It's been standard in most computers for a couple of generations...
