"Son of Adam, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the INHABITANTS of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession."
__Ezekiel 11:15

"Edom is in modern Jewry" - Jewish Encyclopedia 1925; Vol. 5, p. 41

"Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan . . .

. . . Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir . . .

. . . These were dukes of the sons of Esau . . .

. . . Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah."

__Genesis 36:1, 2, 8, 9, 14, 16

"Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim."

__Exodus 17:8

"For he said, Because YHWH hath sworn that YHWH will have war with Amalek from generation to generation."

__Exodus 17:16

"The burden of the word of YHWH to Israel by Malachi.

I have loved you, saith YHWH. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith YHWH: yet I loved Jacob,

And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith YHWH of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom YHWH hath indignation for ever . . . "

__Malachi 1:1-4

"Moreover the word of YHWH came unto me, saying,

Son of Adam, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,

And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord YHWH;

Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.

I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am YHWH.

Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord YHWH, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: since thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.

Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.

And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am YHWH.

Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD (YHWH - YAHSHUA / Jesus the Christ) was there:

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord YHWH, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.

And thou shalt know that I am YHWH, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.

Thus saith the Lord YHWH; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea (Edomiy / Edom), even all of it: and they shall know that I am YHWH."

__Ezekiel 35

"Remember, O YHWH, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said,

'Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.'

O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us."

__Psalm 137:7-8
