SeeSinisterFirst.com - to find out how you can see 'Sinister' early!
Just in time to feed your craving for some seriously twisted scary epic-ness, Sinister is hitting theatres on October 12. And if you're wondering if this film is worth dishing out the dollars to see it on the silver screen right before Halloween, my advice is YES, YES, YES. Alright, guys, I was lucky enough to hit up a press screening -- ps: stay tuned to hear how you can see this movie NOW before the masses -- and holy sh*t, I'm still totally freaked out. This takes a bunch of creepy scenarios and pins them together into a new, modern story. Ethan Hawke stars as a crime novelist who had that one true crime story hit back in the day and in hopes of recreating another New York Times best-seller, Ellison moves his family into the home where an entire family had been brutally murdered via hanging. The family has no clue that they're living at the crime scene, and Ethan's character finds a mysterious box of old school film footage actually showcasing horrifying family murder after sickening family murder. This is some graphic stuff, people. The entire cast does a great job being "in the moment", the edits are quick and thoughtful and the cryptic evil addition is unbelievable. Basically, I was traumatized for the entire night after watching Sinister, but in a good way. Literally, this movie fed my desire to watch a damn good scary movie. It's supernatural, it's realistic, it's cult-inspired, it's just fucking scary, people... and if you're wanting to check out Sinister before the October 12th release date, here's your chance. Right now there are free screenings in 10 cities nationwide, so go to SeeSinisterFirst.com to get your tickets. And, of course, leave a comment below if you're already freaked out like me... or if you're going to pretend that scary movies just aren't ever that scary. Keep watching to check out the trailer for Sinister. I'm Dana Ward in Hollywood. Thanks for tuning into ClevverMovies.
