A day at a 24 hour peace vigil occupation across the street from the White House in Washington D.C.

Nuclear Weapons have the power to destroy humanity.

Concepcion Picciotto, 70 year old lady has occupied a small patch across the street from the White House for 34 years now. Connie has given herself to a life of protest demonstrating Anti-Nuclear signs at a 24 hour Peace Vigil.

This is the longest continuing protest in history which began in 1981. Connie has lived through cold winters, physical and verbal abuse, and much more; but her fight continues.

“Certainly. I could go back to society…I could make a living. But God has chosen a greater task for me.” - Concepcion Picciotto
