The ColdCure Shoulder Wrap comes with 3 gel packs containing XC RigiGel. The XC Gel packs can be stored in the fridge or the freezer before use of the ColdCure Shoulder Wrap. Prior to use, charge the XC Gel packs in the fridge or freezer for at least one hour. There are two types of ColdCure Shoulder Wraps. A Top Shoulder Wrap and a Side Shoulder Wrap.

To apply the ColdCure Top Shoulder Wrap, undo the Velcro straps, and take the XC Gel Packs from the fridge or freezer. Insert the gel packs into the mesh pocket and secure the closure flap of the mesh pocket. The XC Gel pack can be inserted with the white side facing up or down, as it is not side specific.

Attach one of the three extension straps provided based on the width of your chest. Lay the Wrap with the King Brand Logo on the top of your shoulder, and hold the front strap without Velcro so that it rests across your chest. Pull the back strap around your back and across your chest. Attach the back strap to the chest strap. Pull the small strap under your arm and attach it to the front of your shoulder. Adjust the fit as desired. If you have the Accessory Sling attach the Velcro to the center of the Shoulder Wrap. Slip your arm through the sling pocket and rest your forearm and hand inside, and keeping your elbow bent at a 90 degree angle.

To apply the ColdCure Side Shoulder Wrap lay the wrap and open the Velcro closures of the mesh pocket. Take the XC Gel pack from the fridge or freezer, and insert the gel pack into the mesh pocket and secure the Velcro closures of the mesh pocket.

Attach one of the three extension straps provided based on the width of your chest. For the Right Shoulder Wrap, attach the Clothing Protector Circle on the Left Velcro strap and the extension strap to the strap on the right. For Left Shoulder use attach the Clothing Protector Circle to the Velcro strap on the right, and the extension strap on the left strap. Secure the smaller straps from the top of the wrap over the side. These can be adjusted for a better fit once the wrap has been applied to your shoulder. Position the wrap over the side of your shoulder so the King Brand Logo is directly on the side of your shoulder with the crown up. Gently hold the strap at your chest and pull the other strap around your back and across your chest, attaching it to the other strap. If you have the Accessory Sling attach the Velcro to the center of the shoulder wrap. Slip your arm through the sling pocket and rest your forearm and hand inside, keeping your elbow bent at a 90 degree angle. It's recommended to rest during treatment.

If storing the XC Gel packs in the fridge there is no need to take breaks in between treatments. The XC Gel packs can be continuously swapped out as they warm up, or when you've reached 20 minutes. If storing the XC Gel packs in the freezer, do a 20 minute treatment and take a 20 minute break. Cycle treatments throughout the day.

When using XC gel packs stored in the freezer, put a layer of clothing in between the wrap and your skin.

The level of cold felt will increase as your inflammation decreases. If ColdCure treatments become uncomfortable, then take the wrap off for a couple minutes, and then re-apply.
