With an introduction by Evelyn Garland, this video contains much of the presentation given by James Drury at the League City Historical Society's Living History Dinner held at the Tad Akers Event Facility in League City. Mr. Drury talked about his wonderful time as a star with "The Virginian" - which aired from 1962 to 1971 - and also signed autographs and posed for photos with fans. The event raised funds for the West Bay Common School Children's Museum. For more information on League City's One Room Schoolhouse, visit OneRoomSchoolhouse.org.
