Shooting outside bar leaves GR man dead

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) - Wyoming police continue to investigate a shooting outside a Wyoming bar that left one man dead early Saturday morning.

Police tell 24 Hour News 8 22-year-old Larmar Dinta Ivy was shot around 2:15 a.m. at Galewood Tavern located at the corner of Godfrey St. and Burton Ave.

Ivy, a Grand Rapids native, was found with injuries to his body when police arrived on scene.

Ivy was rushed to Saint Mary's hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.

Police do not have any suspects in custody. Authorities continue to speak with witnesses who were near the bar at the time of the shooting.
