We never thought operating a vacuum would be so much fun until we had a "ball" with the Dyson DC25. The maneuverability of this vacuum is so different, and so superior compared to other upright vacuum models. One large Ball is all that comes in contact with the floor. This allows you to get into smaller spaces, under overhangs, and around corners with ease.
Don't forget the patented cyclone technology that this Dyson DC25 features. It doesn't lose any suction power ever. Also, with it's cyclone and two HEPA filters, the Dyson emits zero dust particles out of its exhaust. It sucks up all the dirt and debris and doesn't spit any back out into the air.
This vacuum works best on carpeting and rugs. There is a brush bar that you can activate with one touch of a button on the Dyson Ball. Large and small particles were cleaned up in one pass. When you roll the DC25 Ball onto hard flooring, make sure to turn off the brush bar by pushing the silver brush bar button located right on the handle. Then you can clean large and small particles up without the brush bar kicking them away.
One very nice thing about the Dyson DC25 All Floors Vacuum was how it could get under the cabinets because of the Ball's maneuverability. The on board tools were also very nice. The upholstery brush and crevice tool were on one part, and there was a separate part that was the stair brush. These tools connect to the wand and hose at the back of the Dyson upright vacuum. When you are using the wand and hose, it can stretch out up to 15 feet. We could reach the top of our vaulted ceiling.
Maintenance is a breeze as well. The canister needs emptying when it looks full, and there are no bags. Also, the filters last the lifetime of the vacuum.
