This is just an easy, simple, inexpensive recipe I've used for the last two years to create my own natural face powder. It's saved me and several of my friends quite a bit of money, so I really just wanted to share it with all of you! :)

*~Natural Mineral Face Powder/Foundation Recipe~*

Ingredients/Tools Needed:
1. 100% pure cocoa powder (NO SUGAR ADDED)
2. Cornstarch
3. Seal-able container (i.e. glass jar, old foundation container, etc.)
4. Spoon or other measuring device
5. Mixing/stirring utensil

Directions:
1. Combine your cornstarch and 100% pure cocoa in a 2:1 ratio (i.e. 2 teaspoons cornstarch and 1 teaspoon cocoa).
2. Thoroughly stir together the ingredients until they are well blended and smooth.
3. Store in your airtight container and keep it as you would any other foundation or powder! :)

Sidenotes:
1. If you have fairer skin, you are welcome to forego the cocoa powder. Just be a bit easy with how much of the cornstarch you put on your face; being too heavy-handed with it may leave you looking pale. :x
2. You will likely need to adjust the cornstarch to cocoa ratio, depending on your skin tone. Just play with the recipe a little bit and see what works for you. For darker skin, you'll obviously want to increase how much pigment you add to the cornstarch. This is intended to be a starting point or guideline for you, so take it and make it your own! :)
