With the lingering postal workers strike, the uncertainty of home deliveries pushed many Canadians offline and into the crowds on Black Friday. But Cyber Monday is just around the corner, and the online shopping trend seems to be the new norm. The environmental cost of all that shopping can be pretty steep though. What can be a convenient click away could drastically expand the carbon footprint of an online sale.
