Terrorism, cyber-threats, crime... Security is a hot topic, but how are we to approach our security morally and theologically when Jesus in a sense taught is disciples how to embrace INSECURITY in this world? Simon Barrow from Ekklesia speaks at the regional meeting of Church & Peace in Britain & Ireland.

Church and Peace is a vibrant European Ecumenical network with more than 50 institutional members in currently 15 countries, most but not all from within the EU. Members come from different Christian denominations and traditions. There are communities, congregations, educational institutions, peace service and development organisations, and peace groups.

Church and Peace brings together Christians who respond to the nonviolent call of the Gospel and engage in work for peace and reconciliation on all levels - from grassroots to European level. They create space for members and friends to share their experiences of the peace church way, learning together and encourage one another and invite Christians and Churches to set off together on the way to becoming a peace church.

The day seminar on October 29, 2016 in Priory Rooms in the centre of Birmingham was a regional meeting of the British and Irish members and friends of Church and Peace.
