This is the paper cut stop motion animation that i produced for my Final Major Project in BA (Hons) Illustration at Southampton Solent University where I achieved a First Class (Hons).

I hand cut 652 invidiual paper cuts for the animation, 5 sets and 32 trees. To photograph the entire animation it took me 5 days working from 8am-8pm (were I knock over many a tree, tripped on the tripods and stubbed my toe alot because i was working in a tiny store cupboard), I photographed apox 1600 images over that time to create the animation.

Im looking for work, so if you like what you see and want to see my portfolio or just want a chat, my email is at the end of the video. Remember I'm a illustrator too..

Special thanks to my tutors Peter Lloyd and Derek Rodgers for believing me and letting me get away with doing it. You guys are and all ways will be the best!!
Also thanks to Adam Fry for the loan of his computer.
