A guide for finding and catching Mesprit or Cresselia in the Pokemon games. This is what I see as the easiest and the most efficient way to go about it (without using a Master Ball that is). I did not use any cheats during the making of this video, so this should work on any version of the game.

Some notes:
- "Reset the game" means turn the DS off then on again. A quicker way is by holding L-R-Start-Select, or "soft reset".
- Bring Pokemon with Surf, Cut, Rock Smash, and Strength for easier chasing.
- When using Repel, make sure the first Pokemon in your party is below level 50 and above the levels of the wild Pokemon in that area.
- Pikachu is another good Thunder Waver; it learns it by level-up and had good Speed. I had to use a TM73 on my Azelf.
- Speaking of Azelf, please don't ask why I used a Master Ball on it... that's beside the point.
- Sneasel is another good False Swiper, though Gallade has higher Attack.
- As I'm chasing Mesprit, I'm watching the Marking Map.
- Quick Ball is the best ball to use because it works better at the very start of a battle (like the opposite of a Timer Ball). You only need one--by the way, there's a free one on the bottom right corner of route 222.
