The Tams are R&B vocal group from Atlanta,GA.
They were originally formed in 1960, and took their long lasting name from the Tam o'shanter style of hat that the group choose to wear on stage.
Their first single for their new label ABC Paramount, "What Kind of Fool (Do You Think I Am)," written by Ray Whitley, and became hit to #6- at Billboard Pop/R&B chart in 1963.
