Community Radio Youghal (C.R.Y. 104fm), took a major step forward this week, ( January 9th 2013) with the official commencement of works at its future home, Nagle House, Youghal. Representatives of various stakeholders were on site to mark the beginning of the refurbishment of the premises. Among these, was the Society of St Vincent de Paul, owners of the Nagle House building. The Society was represented by former Area President, Robin Triggs.
Community Radio Youghal (C.R.Y. 104fm) has experienced huge growth in recent years and now has well in excess of 100 people actively volunteering in several capacities. The station is registered as an accredited training centre and began to roll out accredited training courses in the Summer of 2011.
