Ashton Kutcher has signed on to play Steve Jobs. Hey there, I'm Karli Bulnes. Why he's the perfect pick to take on the tech guru in today's PopSugar Rush.

Variety reports that Ashton Kutcher is set to star in an independent film called "Jobs" about Steve Jobs. PopSugar Editor Lauren Turner here to explain four reasons why Mr. Kutcher is a good choice to play the hippie turned tech guru.

1. Early Adopters

—Both Ashton and Steve are early adopters of technology.
—Steve is best known for being a cofounder of Apple.

—Ashton has a successful movie and TV career, has produced shows such as Punk'd

Jobs is scheduled to start production in May while Ashton is on hiatus from Two and a Half Men.
