Ball Handling: Comfortable putting the ball on the floor, but the majority of the time its under the control of only his right hand. Facing up from the perimeter, he has the ability to drive the lane with a nice first step that few bigs can keep up with but needs to show more comfort in using it. Capable of going coast-to-coast with the ball in his hands and can even lead the break. Showed off a nice crossover and some shiftiness at the prep level, and his dribbling can be a weapon at the next level if he works at it out of the face up. Few bigs possess the lateral quickness and ability to keep up with him, but it needs work and clearly more comfort operating with it. Post play is a work in progress as well and his footwork is poor. With his back to the basket, he tends to rush his steps and not be set for his shots with his feet astray to the basket. Doesn't show a great level of patience or ability to utilize fakes, which could go a long way for him in contrast to his "turn and go" approach. His back to basket play is fairly limited to a righty jump hook or turnaround jumper, but he has a quick drop step that should be utilized more. Has decent hands for making the tough catch around the basket and "alley-oop" above the rim. Doesn't play overpowering trying to back his man down yet, rather trying to go finesse around them, but can clearly afford to be more physical and needs to be with his body. Strong finisher at the basket who can shed contact on the way up and does a fair job of protecting the ball on the way up. Still raw with a lot left to be desired, but has the talent and potential to be a force in a few years when he gets to that next level.
