Partners HealthCare and its founding hospitals, Brigham and Women's and Mass General Hospitals, announced a $10 million scholarship initiative to support Boston area students interested in careers in health and science and participating in the hospital youth achievement programs. Boston Mayor Menino, BPS Superintendent Carol Johnson, and State Secretary Paul Reville joined Partners President and CEO Dr. Gary Gottlieb, and hospital presidents Dr. Peter Slavin and Dr. Elizabeth Nabel at the announcement.
