Fired San Francisco TWU 250 A whistleblowers and bus operators Dorian Maxwell and Cynthia Carter spoke out about the system health and safety problems on the MTA buses and the retaliation by MTA management against women drivers who are sexually harassed. They spoke at the San Francisco Transportation Authority and San Francisco Board of Supervisors on Tuesday February 27, 2012 at San Francisco City Hall and pointed out that David Campos and other members of the Board of Supervisors and Mayor Ed Lee were aware of these illegal activities but had refused to take action on these issues. Instead according to TWU 250 A operator Dorian Maxwell they have voted millions more dollars to the Chinatown tunnel instead of fixing the broken down buses. They also spoke about the racist campaign to blame and scapegoat the mostly Black workforce at SF MTA. United Public Workers For Action www.upwa.info
