The number 1 hit jam of Summer '06 is here: Da Statz Krew's "Statz 4 Life"! This video debuted in a Research Methods in Psychology course taught by then University of Oregon (ABD) graduate student Charlotte Tate on May 18, 2006. This video is Charlotte's attempt to get students to enjoy statistics as much as they enjoy hip-hop. In order to maximize the impact of the song and video, Charlotte performed as her drag king persona "Chu-Millionaire Stats Man Chuck Tate" and decided to enlist the help of other psychology graduate students, Jeph Loucks, Chelan Weaver, Cara Lewis, and Jennifer Simonds. Full of entertainment and information, "Statz 4 Life" is the perfect complement to any statistics or research methods course.

Da Statz Krew are (in order of appearance): Jeph Loucks, Charlotte Tate, Chelan Weaver, and Cara Lewis. Jennifer Simonds provides the singing talent.

Be on the look out for other singles from Charlotte Tate's drag king personas "Statz Dogg" and "Point-o-Five Alpha." Statz Dogg will perform "Research Like It's Hot" and Point-o-Five Alpha will perform "In the Lab."

Also, Britney Spearman (aka Jennifer Simonds) has a single "Oops, I Chose the Wrong Test," in which Charlotte makes a cameo as "Stats Man Chuck Tate."

P.S. The video is identical to the one entitled "Statz rappers" with the exception of end credits for this one.

Credits: Concept and lyrics by Charlotte Tate, audio mixing by Jeph Loucks, and video editing by Charlotte Tate and Jeph Loucks. Special thanks to Nelly's song "Grillz," of which this song and video are a parody.
