This is the introduction that explains the basic step to the Greek Zeibekiko Dance.
The zeibekiko (old, new, and aptaliko versions) is a 9/8 rhythm, so it might confuse you if your not used to it. You gotta listen to a lot of zeibekiko songs to get the hang of it, or try to tap out the rhythm with your fingers or something.
If you can pick it up right away, good for you. For most Greeks it will come naturaly.
The gentleman explaining the Dance is my friend Harry G. who has a 2 DVD series on all Greek Dances. You can find at: www.NowYouCanDance.com
And a course on playing Bouzouki (traditional Greek instrument that kicks ass): www.bouzoukidvd.com
