Part 2 of a trip to York, taking a look at what was in store at the National Railway Museum that day.
There had been many movements and new additions to the Great Hall since my previous visits as shown in this video. LNER Class A4 No.4468 Mallard was taking pride of place on the turntable in the Great Hall, while LMS Crab 2-6-0 No.13000 had recently been shunted into the Station Hall.
"Rocket" (the 1979 replica) was also operating rides on the demonstration line along with a 7¼-inch gauge scale model of a Class 55 Deltic on the miniature railway.
At York station, we also see DB Schenker Class 66 66124 (in EWS livery) pass through on a loaded coal train.
