This is my front yard and street getting flooded by heavy rains because of sewer systems put in by Elmhurst Hospital next door. The water reached within inches of the house, along with the street being completely covered in water spanning from our yard to the neighbors yard across the street. There was so much water in our yard, it began to seep through our foundations and into the basement. Not to mention the water coming from the drains and leaving 6 inch deep of standing water in our large crawl space. You can see the sanitary sewer in the corner of our yard completely submersed and bubbling up. For the 35 some years of our residing in this home, we have never had this happen to our yard. This only happened after the hospital redid the sewers. This is the second time this has happened, and it should be known to all local residents.
