This week the lives of three very different artists were lost: Car designer Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, who died in Austria at age 76; Jim Marshall, who didn't invent the rock guitar amplifier, but made it LOUDER, died at age 88; and popoular painter Thomas Kinkade, whose warm and cozy images of home and landscapes were his unmistakable trademark, died at the age of 54.
