If you're in construction to make money and that's why you became a building contractor, I would like to ask you one simple question. Would it be better to work for people that you get along with and are willing to pay for your services? Well, would it?... You need to get rid of the complainers and cheapskates and bend over backwards for your A+ customers. Make sure that you keep your number one clients happy and they will usually refer you more business in the future. Good people usually know other good people and that's who you want to work with. If you continue to work with people who complain about your work or how much money you're getting paid, they will continue to refer you to the other clients who often complain and make you feel bad, for trying to make a profit. Developing a solid customer database will only make your job easier as a contractor in the future.
