This 55-minute DVD documents a part of the Korean War that is rarely looked at: the day-to-day activities of soldiers, 1952-1953, on the front lines. Excellent coverage of life for soldiers in the middle of winter, dug into trenches and bunkers on Korean hilltops.
Includes excellent scenes of soldiers eating sea rations, receiving hot meals for field kitchens, getting dental care in the field and doing laundry with a makeshift washer. Video includes scenes from "Bulldozer Bowl" entertainment provided by USO near front lines, religious services, tramway 770 built by Army engineers, soldiers on patrol and preparations for a large-scale offensive attack.

Part two of this video recounts an Army Christmas in Korea with on-camera interviews with soldiers in the field and a visit to a Korean orphanage.
