Allen West wins this week's "them's fightin' words" award.
At a Florida GOP fundraiser, the Sunshine State congressman leveled a heated verbal attack on President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
"Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, and take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else," West said. "You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America." Maybe West and his Tea Party supporters are taking the "best defense is a good offense" approach. Democrats are targeting Florida and West as vulnerable in 2012's elections. But his conservative supporters are also fuming at a redistricting plan passed by the state's Republican-controlled legislature that puts his re-election at risk.
