The Hirshberg Foundation's biggest event of the year, LA Cancer Challenge (LACC), a family-friendly Halloween event will be held Sunday, October 28th in Westwood, CA. We are aware that most of you do not live in the Southern California area... and that is okay! We have created a Virtual Challenge for you so you won't miss out on all the fun.
1) Register to become a virtual walker today for only $25. It's that simple.
2) Start a virtual team. This can be as simple as just getting some friends together, collecting donations and walking a 5k (3.1 miles) in your neighborhood.
3) Create a mini-event by extending the Virtual Challenge to your community. Find a location (school, park, college) and map out a 3.1 mile course. Invite your friends and family to come out on October 28 and walk/run your event simultaneously as we walk in Los Angeles!
Let your imagination run wild as you plan unique and exciting ways to capture the spirit of Halloween, and spread pancreatic cancer awareness throughout your neighborhood, school, city, or even state!
