An Iranian group considered as terrorist by the US for 15 years is moving off the black list. Government officials are advocating to clear the name of Mujahedin-e Khalq or MEK, even releasing a number of PR adverts. This could further strain relations between Washington and Tehran. Jamal Abdi, the policy director for the Iranian-American national council, believes it's MEK's ties with Israel and US lawmakers that are driving the push.
