You've asked for a long time... and now I deliver! More laughs YOU requested from Nicholson/Ledger... and now with Hamill! Now, keep in mind that I don't consider this a contest; at least I don't intend it that way. I intend for this to be a golden display of the 3 best and most captivating potrayals of this iconic character in media history.

Long live the laughing Jokers!

Hamill, he's both funny and scary. My favorite one. Nicholson, sounds like Jack Torrence or Nicholson being himself, which makes it great. Ledger, pure insanity. What makes him sadistically scary.

All three are great in their own way. Nicholson blended the cartoonish nature of Joker with reality. Hamill perfected the Joker Laugh and Character. And Ledger created a truly frightening character. Overall, Hamill will always be the best Joker in my opinion. I can't get past that laugh, its too perfect. Nicholson also had a great laugh, but nothing compared to Hamill's. Ledger was okay, but his sinister appearance and character is what made him great to me.

Heath Ledger is the best MOVIE Joker, but the Joker of Arkham Games with Mark Hamill is the best overall :D

"Two random guys who played the Joker once, and then the real joker" That's kinda what this comp should be called. You can compare Heath to Nickelson. But Sorry. Hamil? No. Hamil IS the joker. He will ALWAYS be the joker.

Mark Hamill was always the best, in my opinion, because, quite simply, you would not know it was him. I mean the voice acting is so flawless that it is really hard to see through the veneer of the character to the actor. I love them all, and I could listen to each of their performances over and over again as they were perfect fits with different edges of the Jokers warped psyche but with Jack Nicholson it is "Jack Nicholson as the Joker", with Heath Ledger it is "Heath Ledger as the Joker" but Mark Hamill simply disappears in the voice acting, he becomes the Joker. Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson tried to do this to there very best, as best as possible on a big screen performance, but they were either entirely comical or entirely dark. Mark Hamill could always do both and adapted to the most varied incarnations of the character.

If we could blend Hamill's voice, with Nicholson's camp and Ledger's appearance, we could have the perfect Joker.

Mark Hamill wins for me, the laugh at 0:59 seals the deal... i like ledgers at 0:55 because when he does the high laugh its more unexpected .... nicholsons is good but i prefer the other 2

I don't like these comparisons because the character is interpreted differently in each, and each joker laugh is perfect for what the movie or cartoon was going for. Hamill and Nicholson's laugh would be way over the top for the dark knight movies and Ledger's would have been too dull for the cartoon.
