Martin McLaughlan is a singer songwriter from Irvine, North Ayrshire. After spending several years in bands such as "Received", "A Tempo Above Your Heartbeat" and "Burying the Bled" he decided it was time to turn his hand to an acoustic solo project. With influences ranging from Dallas Green to Newton Faulkner and Eric Clapton, his music style is varied.

Already having played the O2 Academy in Glasgow and with a slot at the annual Edinburgh Festival and a headline slot at The Classic Grand Glasgow coming up it's looking set to be a busy year for Martin McLaughlan.
Artists he has performed alongside include Tragic O'Hara, Dear Stars, Taylor Buntain, The Laurels, Less than Sober, HandsFightHeart and Models for the Radio

Currently in the studio recording his first CD Martin McLaughlan is looking forward to what the future holds, where the music will take him and what people he'll meet on his journey.
