At Mweya, doing abit of tourism. First bit of the clip, believe it or not but the hippo was grazing right outside the reception of the safari logde. One of the amazing things about this place is how the wild animals roam around you... I did get freaked out once in awhile but definately an experience I would recommend to everyone.
Have a look at my other Mweya video for more details of this amazing beatifull landscape filled with wilderness
Facts about Hippos:
1. The hippo is the third biggest land animal
2. The hippo's yawn is not a sign of sleepiness or boredom but is actually a threat gesture, displaying long, thick, razor-sharp canine teeth, or tusks, with which it is capable of biting a small boat in half. Being fearlessly protective of their turf and young, hippos have killed hundreds of people in Africa -- more than any other wild animal.
3. The tusk-like incisors and canines grow continuously. They are ivory, valued even more highly than an elephant's because they do not turn yellow with age. George Washington's false teeth were not made of wood, as is commonly believed, but were carved from the tusks of a hippopotamus

Facts about Elephants:
1. The elephants can live between 50 and 70 years. The oldest known elephant lived 82 years old
2. They are the symbol of wisdom in the Asian culture and they are renowned for their great memory and intelligence
3. The adults in good condition are said to have no natural predators except the humans which are a real threat to them
