DEIRDRE (Philips 6416 118 Holland 1977) This is a wonderful record. I'm not an expert on this genre and don't like to draw inaccurate and unfair comparisons just for the sake of selling a record, but 2 of my favorites come to mind, MELLOW CANDLE and TREES. 3 or 4 tracks have "Trees" style acid guitar breaks and to my mind, the stand-out track (5:22 length) "YOUNG WATERS" incorporates the best of Trees and Mellow Candle, Sweet nightingale female vocals, all sung in English except one in Dutch. Sporadic crackles and pops, cover perfect and has original lyric insert. Some songs include flute, violin with guitar, drums, and piano. (NM/Ex) http://www.popsike.com/php/detaildata...
