Archbishop Vincent Never-Answer-A-Straight-Question Nichols would have us believe that his Warwick Street Masses are for chaste homosexuals who accept the teachings of the Church. Judge for yourself: does a bloke in a wig and floral frock, spurred on by a dissenting cleric, praising God for disordered gay and lesbian sex, while standing before a lectern draped in a rainbow sash, sound to you like "chaste homosexuals who accept the teachings of the Church"?

Were not the whole thing so depressingly sacrilegious, it would be hilariously funny. One minute they are praising God for 57 varieties of wall-to-wall "life giving" sex, then in the next breath, they are praying for all their friends who have been killed by that same "life giving" sex - Monty Python would be hard pressed to come up with anything quite so surreal.

Note also their comical flogging-to-death of the word "integrity". However, their litany of "joyful and life giving" sexual disorders ("orientations" they do doubt prefer to call them) which they allege "embraces the fullness of human diversity and excludes no one" in fact excludes a whole raft of sexual "orientation" - sadomasochism, necrophilia and paedophilia, to name but three of scores? The latter omission is especially odd given that the poster boy of the gay rights movement, the Teflon-coated Peter Tatchell, assures us that, "Several of my friends -- gay and straight, male and female -- had sex with adults from the ages of nine to 13. None feel they were abused. All say it was their conscious choice and gave them great joy ..." So why such an exclusive litany that clearly doesn't even begin to "embrace the fullness of human diversity and exclude no one" - so what's happened to all that "integrity" you keep banging on about Joe?
