This is one of my favorite summer records. The 4 Buddies are from Northwest and South Baltimore. "My Summer's Gone" was recorded in January of 1951. It was released on Savoy Records. The 4 Buddies were discovered after the owner, Herman Lubinsky, saw them singing at the LEGENDARY Royal Theater, which someone needs to restore.

I have a different version of this by the 4 buddy's, I think it's much better, I think this is the 1949 version.

The Four Buddies recorded this in 1951, the Five Thrills re worked it for Parrot in 1953 as My Gal Is Gone. This is the original; version.
