The Boys and Girls Club on Broadway Avenue in Cleveland has a farming program that is now in its third year and provides an opportunity for children to grow, distribute, and sell produce to customers. Just under four miles from the Republican National Convention site downtown, the club also recently opened a music studio where children can learn musical instruments. Robert Koonce, chief development officer of the Boys and Girls Club, discusses why having a resource such as this is important for youth in Cleveland.
