Cannabis sativa L. Vegetation - 4 weeks Time Lapse
The goal of the experiment was to see how different strains perform under low concentration feeding regime. 35 cuttings have been collected from mother plants and rooted using Clonex rooting gel. After root have formed, the cuttings have been tranplanted into 2l pots and placed under constant lightsource: 250W HPS Lightbulb with A-Wing Reflector.
Experiment has been conducted in period of 4 weeks during October/November 2016 within space of a private research facility. Throughout the period of 4 weeks, plants have been fed with low Ec levels to provide data on nutrition needs of particular strains. Data collected throughout this experiment helped to formulate and fine tune the feeding schedule in the following experiments and tests.
"Wild vegetation" - 35 plants grew next to each other on area smaller than 1m2. Plants have not been moved around the growspace throughout the time of recording, around week 3 of vegetation some of the plants have been thinned out to better canopy aeration.
Control group: 2 plants (last row: 3rd and 4th from the right)
- Control plants were only watered.
- These plants did not receive any additional nutrients.
Observations:
- Watered plants presented internodal stretch over time
- Lower foliage has degraded, stems and petioles turned purple.
- Overall less amount of green mass in deficient conditions.
- Canopy did not develop properly, sidebranching did not occur.
- Lower leaves yellowed and shriveled.
