Greatest Military Blunder in History: Battle of Karánsebes 1788   A group of drunken austrian soldiers attacks another group of austrian soldiers, thinking they were turks. At the end of the night, the Austrian Army had lost 10 000 men at his own hands.

Strange how blunders always come in 10's.  Already, obama counts for 10 all on his own.

You should have added the Finlands winter war to the list. Russia pretty much failed that war (altough they did win in the end, but look at the sats of the war) Russia: Strenght. 425,640–760,578 men. 998,100 men (overall). 2,514–6,541 tanks. 3,880 aircraft. Russia: Casualties 126,875 dead or missing. 188,671 wounded, concussed or burned. 5,572 captured. 3,543 tanks. 261–515 aircraft. 323,000 total casualties. Finland : Strenght. 337,000–346,500 men. 32 tanks. 114 aircraft. Finland: Casualties. 25,904 dead or missing.  43,557 wounded. 1,000 captured. 957 civilians in air raids. 20–30 tanks. 62 aircraft. 70,000 total casualties.

Pearl Harbour should have been on here. Attacking a nation you aren't even officially at war with that's just developed the nuclear bomb. Smart move Japan.
