The things I do for you people....

This video took me 5 takes to do.... and it still ended up being longer than I wanted. To add to things, the final product after editing was over 8 gigs! I had to cut down the resolution so the upload wouldn't take centuries to complete... and because of that, for some strange reason, YouTube thought that this video was at 4:3 ratio, even though it was recorded at 16:9!! I'm not sure how to fix that, so I'm sorry that things look stretched. Oh well...

Anyway, consider this something of an addendum to my last video on this subject. I'm pretty sure that after this, it should be pretty apparent why I hold to the position that I do, and that it's not based just on opinion, or personal bias, or any other hang ups one may claim I have, nor does it come from ignorance. Everything I'm stating here is easily verified by looking up the relevant information. There is even more i can go into on this subject, but this video is long enough already.

As promised, here is the link to those articles on Sun Lutang's life. They will make for some good reading on the topic:

(there are four parts... the links to the others you can find on the bottom of the page.)

I also highly recommend checking out the works of Prof. Kang Ge Wu, Stanley Henning, Brian Kennedy and Elizabeth Guo, and Adam Hsu, to name a few. They, and others, have been doing a good job of dispelling a lot of misconceptions about Chinese Martial Arts.
