East Troy continues to strive in being the District of Choice. East Troy ensures that students are properly prepared with necessary skills for the global landscape by having students become problem solvers, high order thinkers, creators and innovators.

ETCSD moves forward by focusing on: elementary global literacy, project based learning, middle school world cultures and robotics, accelerated high school programming, Project Lead the Way courses, personalized learning environment, using assessments towards planning, preparation and delivery of instruction, making curriculum available to parents, extending the classroom by community partnerships, integrating digital media to increase collaboration and communication, shifting the focus from teaching to learning, impact of teaching quality on student success, professional development, focus on student growth not standardized tests, facilities that enhance learning experiences, proper investing, operational efficiency.

East Troy has been "ahead of the game" by being proactive in implementing new practices prior to them being mandated. Wisconsin public schools have the opportunity to make the education environment what they want it to be. If ETCSD continues progression on their initiatives while striving to reach their goals, the East Troy Community School District WILL be the District of Choice.
