The Dole Institute Student Advisory Board presented Joe Spease from the Sierra Club of Kansas and Ed Cross from Kansas Independent Oil & Gas Association (KIOGA) they discussed viewpoints on this hot topic from inside the environmental and drilling industries.
Hydraulic fracturing has been in the news so much lately, from stories about earthquakes to oil independence to alternative energy sources. This discussion will hopefully to some shed light on the truths and myths about hydraulic fracturing with panelists both for and against fracking.
