Raoul Tibes, M.D., Ph.D., Associate Director of the Acute and Chronic Leukemias Program at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, discusses his recent Career Development Award presented by ASCO. The award, a three year grant totaling $200,000, will help fund the next phase of translational research: "RNAi Lethality Screening in Leukemias Identifies WEE1 Kinase Inhibition as a Potent Sensitizer to Cytarabine."
