As I was being treated for being pepper sprayed by SFPD while filming peaceful protesters at an Occupy Wall Street West march and rally in San Francisco, others were brought to safety inside a Subway shop at Polk/Ellis (753 Ellis) who opened their doors for us to be treated in safety. One young guy came through the door in a lot of pain. As street medics began to treat him he said "It's ridiculous that the police are working for the 1%" I agree. (yes there is swearing in this video - he was in a lot of pain" Support Street medics and this Subway shop! Speak out against police violence. If it can happen to me - a seminarian/videographer it can easily happen to you. Standing on the Side of Love with the oppressed in this world is the moral and ethical thing to do.
