New Zealand will present an extraordinary line-up of traditional and contemporary culture as the Country of Honour at the Museumsuferfest. More than 100 metres of the riverbank will showcase the best of New Zealand's arts, culture, fine wines, and food. Join us for a once-in-lifetime opportunity to witness a carved Māori waka (canoe) travel the River Main and see and hear first-hand the richness of Māori culture with kapa haka (story-telling through song and dance). Performance group Te Akirata brings New Zealand's Pacific identity to Frankfurt with Cook Island rhythms and beats, and the festivities continue into the night with a mixture of jazz, funk, blues and folk on offer from our top musicians: Warrne Maxwell, Flip Grater, NZ Shapeshifter, and Funkommunity. Boutique vineyards are bringing a selection of distinct regional wines, beers and cider to be partnered with fresh New Zealand summer cuisine.
