It seems like everyday there’s a new headline on artificial intelligence: What is AI? How will it change our lives? And should we be worried?

Elon Musk has gone so far as to call it the “biggest existential threat” to humanity. Why? Well, for starters it’s going to have a significant impact on the way we work. McKinsey Global Institute found that for 60% of all jobs, at least a third of the activities could be automated based on current technology (think: virtual assistants). A recent report by Forrester predicts robots will take over 6% of jobs in the U.S. by 2021, while other reports estimate that by 2035, 47% of jobs could be automated.

On the other hand, some are predicting a massive economic revival, potentially increasing labor productivity by up to 40%. And AI has caught the attention of investors: In 2016 alone, at least 40 AI companies were acquired.

Watch the video for a live discussion with Adam Long of Automated Insights, Bastiaan Janmaat of DataFox, and Amir Salihefendic of Doist on how AI will impact our work -- from productivity, sales, marketing, collaboration, hiring, content creation and more. We discuss why business leaders need to stay up-to-date on advancements in AI, how machine learning will help businesses connect with their customers on a 1:1 basis, and what skills you’ll need to look for in talent to manage the advancements in automation.
