WWW, August 2014 - For years, producers have been using material from our midi files in their own productions.

Most of them have obtained permission, where others (like "Skream") stole our material and released it commercially without even giving credit to the Dubroom.

Of course not, for they do not want you to know about http://midi.dubroom.org.

Well, you found it anyway and good for you because we made some changes.

Read on.

It's simple: when you want to use any or all of the material found on midi.dubroom.org for your (non-commercial) productions, credit the Dubroom somewhere in your release (in the title or in the release notes) and everything is more than fine.

Even stronger, we encourage you to make remixes from the tracks, especially "Rock The Nation In Dub". That's the one you hear now, in it's raw rendered general midi format as it is available on our Midi Files page.

Why? Well, that track has been pirated by a vampire called "Skream" who renamed it "Blue Eyez", made money and did not give credit to this site. So give him some MUSICAL black eyez by making a better remix (which should not be too much of a problem anyway).

When you want to use any or all of our midi material for your commercial (as in, making available for sale rather than free download) productions, please contact the Dubroom so we can make it official. We're not here for the money, but for promoting (DUB) Reggae.

Thank you for your interest.
One Love,
Messian Dread
