Ever had a day that went a little something like this?
The sun is shining, your feeling happy, you cant wait to get out in to nature, swim, lay on the beach reading and snacking away on food.
While in theory that sounds great, a lot of the time the reality goes more like this.
You lay your towel out, its hot so you reach for the soda or sports drink, you guzzle it down and have a small bag of chips or some chewing gum with artificial sweeteners.
Before you know it your feeling tense and unable to truly relax even though your in such a beautiful setting, negative thoughts can slip in to your mind and instead of having a beautiful cleansing day out in the sunshine, your stuck in your head, feeling tense, toxic and you may as well be standing in the middle of a busy city street!
How can that happen? soda drinks, chewing gum, chips, all the typical 'day at the beach' foods contain a plethora of toxic ingredients, from colourings to preservatives, refined sugars, the list goes on, and it all goes straight in to your system.
So instead of your body being able to soak up the beautiful relaxing vibes of the ocean, its busy trying to work out what on earth to do with all these foreign substances! Your elimination organs are hard at work trying to get them out of your body, instead of being able to focus that energy on keeping your system in balance.
You can easily make sure this sort of situation doesnt happen in the future if you ensure that you take at least a litre of fresh spring water with you, some fresh fruit and veg, nuts and seeds, maybe even make your self some delicious raw desert slices, dips & salad.
Not only is it far more satisfying for your taste buds, you will feel high vibes from the ease of digestion, the hydration, and the vitamins and minerals, not to mention the fact that eating more live foods means your consuming pure life force energy.
Eating out can be delicious and good for your body and your mood :)
