A presentation by Chef Ori Ann Li. Get festive with vegan treats this holiday season! Chef, animal advocate, and former Mrs. Hawaii, Ori Ann Li will indulge you with decadent holiday treats that will stimulate your taste buds and inspire you to make some yourself. Ori Ann traveled to different parts of the world to discover a diversity of multiethnic flavors and to learn how to integrate them into her own cooked and raw vegan cuisine. In this cooking demonstration she will prepare recipes that have the power to woo the French and delight Asian palates. She will also show how she incorporates meditative techniques into her cooking and turns the mundane task of cooking into a mind/body exercise. Vegan chef, animal advocate, and former Mrs. Hawaii International, Ori Ann Li has travelled the world to discover great food and cultures. She has studied at the famed French culinary arts institute Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and Ottawa, the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City, as well as the renowned Cordon Vert vegetarian cooking school in England, and has also received professional training in Chinese, Thai, and Indian cooking. Ori Ann co-hosted a healthy cooking segment on Hawaii television, and is currently launching her own cooking show. Her passion for helping animals has also led her to her work on creating Oahu's first farm animal sanctuary, and to name it after her pig friend, 'Peace'.
